WHEN TO CALL YOUR DOCTOR

Pregnancy for most women is not always a smooth ride. It is normal to experience some discomforts at each stage in pregnancy.

These symptoms include nausea, heartburn, frequent urination, backache, and feeling tired easily. It is important to note however, when the symptoms are different and when they require medical attention. Most women know when it is not just right, and at this time it’s advisable to call your care giver.

The following are the symptoms you should not just keep quiet about or try to bear:

  • Bleeding or spotting from the vagina with the feeling of cramping in the lower abdomen within the first 20weeks is not a good sign and should be reported immediately to your doctor. Any signs of bleeding at any stage in pregnancy should also be reported to your doctor.

HELP I’M A DAD

Until now you have never really thought of the fact that you are going to be a dad and even if you have, the experience is a lot different from what you imagined. First you didn’t know it brings this much joy and fulfillment. Secondly, you didn’t know this’ little thing’ will almost take your wife away from you. Thirdly, you didn’t know it had this much demands.

Probably you had thought, “Our fathers did it, so why cant we?” But the truth is that most of our fathers didn’t do anything at all. Not that they did not want to, but they were scared themselves and the culture at their dispensation permitted a man to just drop the cash and run off. So they did just that and also occupy themselves with a lot of work and hanging out with friends. Unfortunately some of them ended up having extra marital affairs all because they became strangers in there own homes. Thank God it’s a lot different now and men of this age want to be part of their children’s lives as much as possible.
